Public Hearings

On occasion, the EAA holds public hearings to help engage permit holders, stakeholders, and the general public in the EAA’s deliberative process.  Examples of topics included rule-making activities, budget decisions, and occasional redistricting activities.  The hearings are designed to explain EAA programs and to elicit public comment and opinion for consideration by the EAA Board of Directors before any final decisions on the topic are made.

Typically, such hearings are held in multiple locations throughout the EAA Region and are advertised in local newspapers, on local radio stations, and on this website.
