HOME THE EAA BOARD OF DIRECTORS District 3

George Rice, is a member of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors, representing District 3, which covers central Bexar County. Mr. Rice serves on the Aquifer Management Planning and Research & Technology committees of the board. He was elected to the board of directors in 2002 and 2006. His current term expires December 1, 2010.

Mr. Rice, a resident of San Antonio, is a groundwater hydrologist and independent groundwater consultant. He holds a Master of Science degree in hydrology from the University of Arizona.

Mr. Rice is a member of the Sierra Club, Aquifer Guardians in Urban Areas (AGUA),

Regional Clean Air and Water, American Civil Liberties Union, and the Bexar County Green Party.
