Martin Allen, a resident of New Braunfels, represents District 9, which includes eastern Comal and western Guadalupe counties. He was appointed to the board of directors in April 2009 to fill an unexpired term, which expires December 1, 2010.  Mr. Allen currently serves on the board’s Permits/Enforcement Committee.

Mr. Allen, a district court administrator for Comal, Hays and Caldwell counties, has 38 years experience working in Texas courts. He holds a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice and is a past recipient of the Chief Justice Barrow Award. His civic involvement includes membership in the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce and the Wurstfest Association.
