Mark B. Taylor - Treasurer
District 11, Hays/Caldwell counties

Mark B. Taylor is a member of the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board of Directors, representing District 11, which covers the southern portion of Hays County and the western portion of Caldwell County. Mr. Taylor was appointed to the board of directors in September 2007 to fill an unexpired term and then was elected to the position in 2008. His current term expires December 1, 2010. Mr. Taylor currently serves on the Aquifer Management Planning and Finance/Administrative committees. As treasurer, he also serves on the Executive Committee of the board. 

Mr. Taylor is a practicing attorney and previously served as city attorney for the cities of San Marcos and Victoria. He is a former member of the South Central Texas Water Advisory Committee (SCTWAC), representing Hays County. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Mississippi State University and a law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law.
